Emily Barber

Emily Barber is a Senior Project Officer for Environmental Water Coordination at Murray-Darling Basin Authority since March 2023, following a role as Project Officer for Enhanced Environmental Water Delivery. Prior experience includes serving as a Land Service Officer at Local Land Services, focusing on the Riverbank Rehabilitation Project, and as a Project Officer for Water and Waterways at Reef Catchments, managing river rehabilitation efforts across significant catchments. Previous roles include Hydrogeologist at EMM Consulting Pty Limited, where Emily coordinated fieldwork for large infrastructure projects, and Environmental Field Officer at Agurba Pty Ltd, maintaining environmental databases and conducting water sampling. Additional experience includes processing groundwater datasets at Watershed Hydrogeo Pty Ltd as a Hydrogeologist and working as a Vacation Student at CSIRO on the NAWRA research project. Emily holds an International Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Wollongong.
