Tanzeel Khan is an experienced professional in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as the Manager of the Biomedical Engineering Department and the Repair and Maintenance Department at Murshid Hospital since September 2017. In addition, Tanzeel has been working as a Perfusionist at the National Medical Centre since 2017. Previously, Tanzeel held the position of Manager of the Biomedical Department at Boulevard Hospital from 2009 to 2017 and worked as a Perfusionist at Dr. Ziauddin Hospital during 2015 to 2016. Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre - established since 1987 - is a private “not for profit” charitable institution, (A project of Darut Tasnif (Pvt) Ltd.) The facility is dedicated to the medically under-served population. The hospital is equipped with the modern equipment and highly qualified consultants aiming at quality patient care. The hospital is designed for a 250 bed facility. However, presently 150 beds are functioning in addition with 4 well equipped operation theaters; Ultrasound, OPD’s and 24 hours services of Emergency, ICU, NICU, Radiology, Laboratory, Blood Bank, & Pharmacy are available for the patients as well as walk in public. The hospital has also been conducting free Community Health Programme, EPI under the auspices of UNICEF and rehabilitation Program of Polio Stricken Children. A Well Baby Clinic and population planning facilities are being looked after by the highly qualified specialists. In addition with the above statement Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre is also running an Institute of Nursing Education Services in the hospital premises in which hostel for female students is also provided to the students.
