Darby Research Institute where pediatric research teams conduct significant and ongoing efforts; the R. Keith Summey Medical Pavilion in North Charleston which offers an ambulatory care clinic and surgery center, specialty care and after hours clinics; and finally, expanded depth and breadth of expertise in multiple locations throughout the state, offering primary, urgent and specialty care in person or via telehealth.

The Healthcare Support Team at MUSC Children’s Health plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of patient care services. Team members such as Unit Secretaries and Administrative Assistants manage administrative duties and support clinical staff. Patient Care Technicians and Medical Assistant Externs assist with direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety. Certified Child Life Specialists provide emotional support and therapeutic interventions to children and their families. Periop Charge RNs oversee perioperative care and maintain surgical flow, while Dietetic Technicians ensure nutritional needs are met. Together, they contribute to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to pediatric patients.
