Suzanne Makin

Suzanne Makin is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in patient financial services and revenue management. Currently serving as the Director of Patient Financial Services at MUSC Health since October 2023, Makin previously held the position of System AVP Central Business Office at LCMC Health from April 2021 to July 2023. Makin's career began at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUSC Medical Center), where roles included Director of Hospital Patient Accounting & Revenue Integrity and Medical Center Manager for Billing and Accounts Receivable from May 2003 to May 2021. Makin holds an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Thomas College.
