Rachel Learmonth

Rachel Learmonth has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Rachel is currently the Head of Trusts and Foundations at Muscular Dystrophy UK since November 2022. Previously, they worked at Acorns Children's Hospice as a Partnership Manager from May 2021 to November 2022, and as a Partnership Officer from September 2019 to May 2021. Before that, they were a Fundraising Manager at Solihull Hospital Charity from January 2019 to September 2019, and a Senior Fundraiser from August 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Development Officer at Town Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham from September 2015 to August 2017, where they played a crucial role in identifying new sources of income and maintaining relationships with important community members and potential supporters. Rachel also has experience as a Marketing and Communications Intern at Holmfirth Events from March 2015 to July 2015, and as a University Intern at Opera North from September 2014 to July 2015. Rachel began their work experience as a Peer Mentor at the University of Leeds from September 2012 to September 2013. Prior to that, Rachel held various roles such as a Ward Clerk at Priory Healthcare in April 2013, a Mentor at Leeds City School from September 2012 to March 2013, and a Lifeguard at Edgbaston High School for Girls from September 2009 to June 2011.

Rachel Learmonth completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music at the University of Leeds, where they attended from 2011 to 2014. Later, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Music and Management from 2014 to 2015.
