Christine la Monte

Christine La Monte is an accomplished producer and editor with extensive experience in the film and arts industry. Currently serving as a producer for AI WEIWEI’S TURANDOT, a feature documentary highlighting artist Ai Weiwei’s operatic debut, La Monte has also been the editor for Musée Magazine since 2017. Previous projects include the feature documentary VIVA VERDI!, which explores the lives of retired opera performers, and the award-winning short film DANDELION DHARMA. La Monte's directorial work encompasses SAG's "A Heart United" and "The Angina Monologues" at Maria Shriver's Women's Conference. Additional contributions to the arts include board positions with organizations such as the Los Angeles Ballet and Dandelion Dharma and a dean's advisory role at SUNY at Buffalo. La Monte holds a BA in French from the University at Buffalo, among other educational experiences.
