Martine Vassal

Martine Vassal's work experience includes serving as the President of the Bouches-du-Rhône Department since 2015. Martine also held the position of President of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis starting from 2018. Prior to these roles, they worked for the City of Marseille as a Municipal Councilor from 2001 until present, and as the Deputy Mayor from 2001 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they were the General Director at GILLES SA from 1985 to 2000. Additionally, they served as President of the National Higher School of Firefighters Officers since 2015.

Martine Vassal completed their education from 1981 to 1985 at KEDGE Business School. During this time, they attained a Bac+5 degree in Marketing and general marketing management.
