Myriam Rubio

Myriam Rubio is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in contemporary art and education. Currently serving as Curadora adjunta and coordinating the project l'internationale at Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) since March 2019, Myriam has a strong background in research and performance policies. Previously, from January 2011 to January 2019, Myriam held the position of Coordinadora del Programa de Estudios Independientes (PEI) at MACBA, focusing on project management, curriculum design, and budget oversight. Myriam's earlier roles include Coordinadora de Programas Públicos y Programas de Cine at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona and coordination of activities at Residencia de Estudiantes de Madrid. Myriam also served as a substitute professor at Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros. Myriam holds a Master's degree in Estética y Teoría de las Artes from Instituto de Estética y Teoría del Arte and is pursuing a Doctorado en Estética from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
