Amanda Dearolph has a diverse work experience in the museum and art industry. Amanda has been working at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) since 2015, where they started as a Collections Information Specialist. In this role, they performed various system administration tasks and provided user support for the museum's collection management system. Amanda also drafted and published written procedures and training materials for users. Amanda then became a Database Administrator, overseeing the day-to-day administration of the museum's collection management system and creating analytical reports on collection data. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Collection Information & Digital Assets, where they oversee the development and delivery of collection information and digital asset content.

Prior to their work at LACMA, Amanda had internships and roles in other art institutions. Amanda was an Audience Research Intern at the Museum of Glass in 2014, a Collections Assistant at the Henry Art Gallery from 2012 to 2014, and a Textile Collections Intern at the Museum of History and Industry in 2014. Amanda also served as the Editor of eMessenger Newsletter for the Washington Museum Association from 2013 to 2014.

Aside from their museum experience, Amanda has also worked as a Beauty Advisor/Lancome Representative at Macy's and as a Summer Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Central Florida. Amanda also volunteered at the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art, participating in the Gallery Guide Program and the MUSE Program.

Amanda Dearolph holds a Master's degree in Museology/Museum Studies, which they obtained from the University of Washington. Amanda pursued this degree from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's of Arts in Art History from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
