Jean-Pascal Coutelen has a strong background in facilities management and maintenance. Jean-Pascal started their career in 1994 as a Consultant for Ligeron S.A., where they focused on maintenance and risk management. Jean-Pascal then joined Disneyland Paris in 1998, working their way up from Manager of Facilities Asset Management to Senior Manager of Special Events and Projects, and eventually becoming the Director of Parks & Resorts Facilities. In 2012, they joined The Walt Disney Company as Manager of Safety Services for Facilities and Resorts. In 2015, they transitioned to EMCOR Government Services, Inc. as a Program Manager for Facilities Maintenance and Operations. Most recently, in 2017, they became the Associate Vice President of Facilities at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Jean-Pascal Coutelen completed their Baccalauréat C in Maths & Physics at Lycée Saint-Charles, Marseille. Jean-Pascal then pursued higher education at Polytech Nancy from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management.
