Jennifer Jordan has a diverse work experience in various roles within the arts and non-profit sectors. Jennifer began their career as a Phone Canvass Manager at Clean Water Action in 1999 and later worked as a Development & Communications Manager at SF Camerawork from 2009 to 2012. Jennifer then became a Membership Officer at San Francisco Ballet from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they worked at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco as the Acting Assistant Director of Membership from May 2015 to June 2015, and as the Membership Manager, Direct & Digital from October 2014 to April 2015. Jennifer also served as the Director of Annual Giving at the San Francisco Opera from June 2015 to September 2018. Most recently, they held the role of Director, Membership at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) starting in October 2018. In addition to their employment, Jennifer has also worked as a freelance Writer, Editor, and Copy Editor since 2002, with clients including Chronicle Books, the McEvoy Group, and the San Francisco Public Library.
Jennifer Jordan began their education in 2000 at San Francisco State University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Art History in 2004. Following this, they attended the California College of the Arts from 2004 to 2006, where they earned their Master's degree in Visual & Critical Studies.
