Alice Kaufman is a dedicated arts educator with extensive experience in museum education and community engagement. Currently serving as Specialist for K-12 & Community Audiences at Hammer Museum, Alice has held multiple leadership roles, including President and Past President of the Museum Educators of Southern California. In previous positions, Alice has managed school programs at MOCA and collaborated with The New York Times as a Learning Network Facilitator. Additional experiences include coaching educators in Visual Thinking Strategies, facilitating school tours at LACMA, and directing a theater camp for children. Alice holds a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, and furthered studies with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Improv Olympic Theatre.
