Billie Rae Vinson

Billie Rae Vinson currently serves as the Director of Learning and Engagement at the Orange County Museum of Art, where responsibilities include designing and executing the educational strategy and managing a team of over forty staff and volunteers. Concurrently, Billie Rae holds the position of Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Museum Educators of Southern California, overseeing budget management and financial objectives. Previous roles encompass teaching artist positions at institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the J. Paul Getty Museum, as well as director roles focused on education at Craft Contemporary and other organizations. Billie Rae holds an MA in Critical Writing and Curatorial Studies from the University of the Arts London and a BA in Fine Art from Cardiff School of Art and Design, alongside additional foundational education in art.
