Clio Maridakis is a PhD student at Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle since October 2022. Maridakis is also a co-host of The Sargassum Podcast, a position held since January 2021. Previous roles include General Coordinator at LES PARQUES, Sargassum influx Engineer at ADEME, and Assistant Project Manager at CEVA, focusing on the ecophysiology of opportunist benthic algae. Additional experiences involve serving as a Researcher Assistant in Algae at CIBIO InBIO with a publication in the Journal of Phycology, representing the World Ocean Council as an Ambassador, and conducting research on microplastics at Archipelagos. Maridakis completed a Master's degree in Ecophysiology and Ecotoxicology at Pierre and Marie Curie University and has undergone various training and internships related to marine ecology and ecotoxicology.
