Joyce Rapiteau is an experienced marine biologist and project coordinator with a focus on marine ecosystems and conservation efforts. Currently, Joyce holds the position of Chargé de projets at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, leading initiatives for the Groupe Tortues Marines France since April 2024. Prior roles include serving as Chargé de Médiation scientifique and Biologiste Marin at the Aquarium de Paris, where responsibilities encompassed scientific communication and support for marine biology teams. Joyce also coordinated the Écoguides program at Parc national de Port-Cros, managing public engagement and ecological data collection. Previous experience includes project management for ARCHELON, an NGO focused on the protection of marine turtles, and research assistance on humpback whale bioacoustics with the South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Joyce holds a Master's degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Aix-Marseille University and two undergraduate degrees in Biology and Earth Sciences.
