Sahima Hamlaoui

Sahima Hamlaoui is an experienced algologist specializing in participatory sciences and scientific mediation, currently serving as Co-responsible and representative of Plankton Planet at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle. In this role, Hamlaoui contributes to the "Science ensemble" portal and the ambitious project focused on freshwater plankton biodiversity in Île-de-France. Prior positions include managing the eukaryotic microalgae collection and environmental risk assessments associated with cyanobacteria at MNHN. Hamlaoui's research background encompasses significant studies on microalgae and cyanobacteria toxicity, collaborating with institutions such as CNRS and ANSES.
