Alex Clapham is an experienced exhibition and production professional currently serving as the Exhibition Manager and Production and Installation Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia since June 2022. Prior to this role, Clapham worked as an Assistant BIM Technician at Arup from January to June 2022, and as a Production Technician at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia from June 2016 to December 2021. Clapham has also held various preparator and installer positions at reputable institutions such as Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation, Campbelltown Arts Centre, and UNSW Galleries between 2014 and 2017. Additionally, Clapham has experience as a Visual Arts Director at 107 Projects Inc. and as a Kudos Gallery Coordinator at Arc - UNSW Student Life. Clapham co-directed Art Month Sydney from August 2012 to March 2013 and worked as a visual artist from 2010 to 2019. Alex holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from UNSW and is currently pursuing a Diploma of Civil Construction Design (Structural) at TAFE NSW.
