Kirsty Esson has a diverse work experience in event management and venue operations.

Kirsty is currently serving as the Head of Venues (Sales & Operations) at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, where they oversee the management and delivery of high-quality events in their prestigious venues.

Previously, Kirsty worked at Merlin Events - NSW, firstly as an Event Sales Manager and then as the Event Manager - NSW. In these roles, they managed the sales team, generated event sales, and achieved revenue targets for Merlin Attractions across New South Wales.

Before that, they served as an Events Manager at both Event Cinemas and Dendy Cinemas, where they were responsible for managing and organizing various events, including large-scale events, film festivals, and corporate hires.

Kirsty's early work experience includes a role as a Conference Assistant at the University of Southampton.

Kirsty Esson attended Kambala from 1994 to 2002 but did not earn a degree or pursue a specific field of study. In 2003-2004, they attended the College of Fine Arts, UNSW, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a focus on Printmaking.
