Herbert Jones

Herbert Jones is an experienced professional in arts administration and program management, currently serving as the Senior Program Manager for Internships at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston since March 2022. With an extensive background at the same institution for over 26 years in various roles, including Front of House Manager and Intern Programs Manager, Herbert has successfully transformed the museum’s internship program into a paid initiative. As the Director of the Inner Strength Gospel Choir at Boston University from September 2003 to August 2023, Herbert led a diverse community in music performance, highlighting cultural and spiritual connections. Additionally, Herbert has a history in music ministry with Messiah Baptist Church and has held roles in human resources and finance, backed by a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration from Boston University and a B.S. in Economics from Northeastern University.
