Christian Schörnich

Christian Schörnich currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, since March 2021. Previously, Christian held the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, overseeing a $35 million budget and various departments, including Facility Management and Marketing. Christian's extensive experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant for the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and Adviser Business Operations for the UNDP, where strategic initiatives and global assessments were conducted. Additional positions held include Financial Controller at ACTED and Senior Manager at Munich Airport, where significant revenue achievements were made. Christian's educational background includes an Executive Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School and multiple degrees from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and the University of Konstanz.
