Annika Sippel is a Research Assistant at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa since July 2013, contributing to projects with the Art team and the NZ and Pacific Histories and Cultures team through the development of proposals and academic abstracts. Annika has held various roles within the museum, including Assistant Visitor Services Manager, Function Supervisor, Tour Guide, and Exhibition Supervisor, demonstrating strong leadership, customer service, and operational management skills. Annika also served as a Teaching Assistant at Victoria University of Wellington from March 2018 to June 2019, facilitating discussions and promoting a supportive learning environment. Annika holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Art History, a Master of Arts in Art History, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Art History, from Victoria University of Wellington, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Italian.
