Jake Yocum

Jake Yocum is a highly experienced professional in the exhibition and creative media sectors, currently serving as the Touring Exhibitions Manager at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa since January 2016. In this role, responsibilities include project management, exhibition development, freight logistics, and stakeholder engagement for both domestic and international exhibitions. Previous positions at Te Papa involved leadership in various aspects of exhibition preparation and management, including roles as Manager of Exhibition Services and Lead Exhibition Preparator. Before joining Te Papa, Jake was the Director of Creative Media at Te Mahi Limited, where expertise in project management, design, and 3D fabrication was demonstrated. Jake holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Otago Polytechnic | Te Pūkenga, completed in 1995.
