Mandy Herrick

Mandy Herrick is an accomplished content and resource developer currently leading the Kōtuia ngā Kete project at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa since October 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a digital producer and digital content producer at Auckland War Memorial Museum, where Mandy contributed to digital product development and website redesign projects. Previous positions include communications advisor at Oxfam New Zealand, enhancing public engagement through magazine production and videography, and serving as a digital content developer at Puke Ariki, where Mandy created multimedia content for exhibitions. Additionally, extensive experience includes communications advisory roles at Forest & Bird and The New Dowse, as well as editorial leadership at City Weekend and reporting at Capital Times. Educational qualifications consist of an Honours Degree in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington, a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Massey University, and ongoing professional development in project management and Rongoā.
