Murphy Peoples

Murphy Peoples is an experienced exhibition experience developer, currently engaged at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa since May 2021, focusing on the redevelopment of the Pacific Islands exhibition. Previously, from August 2006 to May 2021, Murphy held multiple roles at Museums Victoria, including experience developer, outreach program manager, and public programs project officer, contributing to strategic planning and community engagement initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as a senior programs officer at Questacon, where responsibilities encompassed customer service management and volunteer coordination. Murphy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science from The Australian National University and has pursued further education at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
