Ellie Cross

Ellie Cross is an experienced educator specializing in art and community outreach. Currently serving as the Director of Education and Community Outreach Coordinator at the Museum of Northwest Art since August 2018, Cross has a diverse background in teaching, having held positions as an Art Teacher at Roaring Mouse Creative Arts Studio, a Visual Art Teacher at The Valley School, and an Art Specialist at Ascend International School, where foundational outreach and visual arts programs were developed. Cross's experience also includes roles as Home Learning and Thinking Club Coordinator at the University Child Development School and an English Teaching Assistant with Fulbright, further emphasizing a commitment to educational innovation. A Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Scripps College and additional studies in Tibetan Studies bolster Cross's comprehensive understanding of arts and culture.
