Dr. Jessica Chavez

Dr. Jessica Chavez is currently serving as the Vice President of Education and Chief Learning and Community Partnership Officer at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Learning Officer at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science from December 2020 to April 2023. Dr. Jessica also has extensive experience at the Arizona Science Center, where they held various roles including Vice President of Innovative Learning Strategies, Director of Innovative Learning, Director of Professional Learning, Senior Manager of Professional Learning, and Professional Learning and Development Facilitator from 2015 to 2021. Dr. Jessica began their career at Mesa Public Schools as a Visual Arts Educator in 2010 and later became the STEAM Coordinator from 2012 to 2015.

Dr. Jessica Chavez completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Northern Arizona University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Education Technology from Arizona State University, which they completed in 2016. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Chavez holds a certification as a Cognitive Coach, although specific information regarding the institution and date of certification is not available.
