Ilena Ruggeri

Ilena Ruggeri is an experienced instructor currently working at the Museum of Science & Industry since May 2021 and has been serving as a historical docent at CRACKER COUNTRY LLC since January 2019. Previously, Ilena worked as an educator at The Florida Aquarium from May 2019 to May 2021, and completed an internship in animal husbandry at the Aquarium of the Pacific in late 2016, focusing on the care and breeding of jellyfish and public education. Ilena graduated from the University of Miami in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Atmospheric Science, majoring in marine science and biology and minoring in chemistry. Additional roles included serving as an office assistant at the University of Miami Intensive English Program in mid-2015, where responsibilities involved event assistance, student registrations, and client interactions.
