Sheleia Brooks

Sheleia Brooks currently serves as a Visitor Experience Associate at the Museum of the African Diaspora since April 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Receptionist at Telecare Corporation from August 2021 to December 2022, where responsibilities involved connecting callers with appropriate staff and assisting the community with various resources. Sheleia also worked as a Sales Associate at the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of Natural History from June 2016 to September 2020 and as a Production Assistant at the Academy of Art University from January 2017 to May 2019, supporting the "Urban Knights Update" newscast. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Sales Associate at Sunglass Hut from January 2014 to August 2015. Sheleia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University, obtained between 2015 and 2019.
