Julia Newman

Julia Newman is an experienced development professional with a strong background in individual and leadership giving. Julia served as Director of Development for Individual Giving and Director of Leadership Giving at the Museum of the American Revolution from June 2018 to October 2022. Prior to this role, Julia held the position of Manager of Leadership Annual Giving for the Chairman's Council at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from September 2016 to August 2018. Julia began their career at the Rhode Island School of Design, where roles included Parent Relations Officer and Annual Fund Coordinator from November 2011 to October 2016. Julia's earlier experience includes working as a Development Associate at Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education (RISE) and an intern at 826 Boston. Julia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Rutgers University in May 2008.
