Kristian Smith is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor relations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at the Museum of the American Revolution since September 2011, Kristian successfully led a $173 million campaign that exceeded its goal, enabling the museum to open debt-free. Previously, as the Director of Donor Relations at PennFuture, Kristian established a major gifts program for the organization. Additional experience includes roles at The Nature Conservancy focusing on board relations and events, co-owning a catering and events firm, and working in archaeological fieldwork. Kristian holds a BA in International Studies/Anthropology from Eckerd College and a Principles of Fundraising Certification from Villanova University.
