Sean Corcoran has extensive experience in curatorial roles, currently serving as the Curator of Prints and Photographs and previously as Senior Curator at the Museum of the City of New York since May 2007. Prior to this, Sean worked at the George Eastman Museum from September 1999 to April 2007, holding positions as Associate Director of the Photographic Preservation and Collection Management Master of Arts Program and Assistant Curator of Photographs. Additionally, Sean served as an Adjunct Professor at Ryerson University from 2005 to 2007, contributing to the Photographic Preservation and Collections Management Program in collaboration with the George Eastman Museum. Sean earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Syracuse University in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Nazareth University in 1996.
