Jonathan Shearer

Jonathan Shearer has extensive experience in science education and program management, currently serving as General Manager at Scienceworks, Museums Victoria, since October 2015. Prior roles at Museums Victoria include Public Programs and Education Manager and Programs Coordinator for STEM initiatives. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Education Manager at the Da Vinci Science Center and Program Coordinator for Digital Education at Museum Victoria. Additional experience includes teaching at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in Victoria, Australia, and roles as Education Officer at CSIRO and Outreach Presenter at Questacon. Jonathan holds a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary Education) from La Trobe University, a Graduate Diploma of Scientific Communication from The Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Inorganic Chemistry from The Australian National University.
