Les Schneider has a extensive work experience spanning over 20 years in various organizations and roles. Currently, Les is the Head of Technology Strategy and Delivery at Museums Victoria, where they are responsible for strategic planning, operational management, program management, and transformational change. Les joined Museums Victoria in April 2022.

Prior to their current role, Les served as the Manager of Information Services at Maroondah City Council from July 2017 to April 2022. In this position, they focused on strategic planning, operational management, program management, and transformational change to deliver enterprise technology solutions aligned with long-term objectives.

Les has also worked as a Project Manager at Ryder Consulting from January 2014 to April 2015, and as the Manager Information Services (Program Manager / Business Improvement) at Lockyer Valley Regional Council from January 2008 to December 2013.

In addition, Les has held positions such as Senior Database Administrator at the University of Southern Queensland from December 2006 to December 2008, Corporate Applications Specialist at Toowoomba Regional Council from January 2004 to December 2006, and Business Systems Administrator at Rockhampton Regional Council from January 2001 to December 2003.

Les Schneider received their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a focus on Software Engineering from CQUniversity in 1999. Les then pursued further education and completed an MBA with a specialization in Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland from 2007 to 2010.
