Chris Pilling

Chris Pilling is an experienced Non-Executive Director and leader with a diverse background in various sectors, including finance, sport, and public service. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Board Member at UK Sport and Barclays UK, Chris has also held leadership positions such as CEO of Yorkshire Building Society Group and First Direct. With a strong focus on governance and advisory roles, Chris contributed to the Department of Culture Media & Sport as an independent member of the Covid Loans Advisory Board and a sports consultant. Educational qualifications include a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
