Kristin Chesnutt Oro is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in product management and innovation within the technology and creative sectors. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist focused on Innovation & Creativity at Music Academy and holding the position of Product Manager in Augmented Reality at Apple since May 2022, Kristin brings a wealth of experience from previous roles at Dolby Laboratories, where significant contributions included driving next-generation imaging technologies and developing market strategies for Dolby Vision. Other notable experiences include an Innovation Intern role at Ermenegildo Zegna Group and a consulting position for Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, both focused on product innovation and strategy. Kristin also has a background as a Professional Violinist with the Portland Festival Symphony and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.

Music Academy is a performance-based training center and incubator that empowers musicians to positively impact society. The Music Academy welcomes everyone from across all generations, cultures, and backgrounds to experience the transformative power of music. Based in Santa Barbara, California, the Academy presents the preeminent full-scholarship Summer School and Festival for classically trained fellows ages 18 to 34.
