Alicia Swannell

Alicia Swannell possesses extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Senior Advisory Lawyer at the Ministry of Justice UK since September 2017 and as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Music Masters since June 2022. Prior roles include Associate within the Commercial Disputes Group at Eversheds from March 2014 to August 2017, where notable achievements included successfully obtaining summary judgment in a High Court dispute for a medical device producer. Alicia also completed a two-year training contract as a Trainee Solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, gaining experience in various legal domains, and worked as a Family Mediator with the Department of Justice Canada in late 2011. Alicia holds a Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Decision Sciences from UCL and multiple legal qualifications from BPP Law School, along with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Bristol.
