James Koutoulas

James Koutoulas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, law, and technology. As CEO of Typhon Capital Management since March 2008 and Chief Executive Officer of JurisTrade, which offers a marketplace for litigation finance, Koutoulas leverages a unique skill set that combines hedge fund management, software development, and legal expertise. James also serves as Managing Member of Koutoulas Law, specializing in cases that intersect these fields. In addition, Koutoulas is involved in various initiatives, including founding the Typhon Tactical Investor Forums, co-founding the Commodity Customer Coalition, and holding advisory roles at multiple organizations. Koutoulas earned a JD with a Business Concentration from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BS in Finance and History from the University of Florida.
