Matthew Zeller

Curator For Europe at MIM, Musical Instrument Museum

Matthew Zeller is a distinguished curator for Europe at the Musical Instrument Museum since August 2022 and has been involved with RM Medical Search & Consulting as an operations consultant and manager since 2014. With an academic background that includes a PhD in Music History, Literature, and Theory from Duke University, Zeller also served as a postdoctoral scholar at both McGill University and the ACTOR Project from August 2020 to August 2022. Additionally, Zeller contributed as an instructor and teaching assistant at Duke University, along with serving as a curatorial consultant for the Duke University Musical Instrument Collection during the same timeframe. Previous positions include research assistant at the National Music Museum and owner of Wasatch Poker Tour. Zeller's education encompasses a Master of Music in Organology from the University of South Dakota, a certificate in Museology/Museum Studies from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Production from the University of Utah, and an earlier academic tenure at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
