Ryan Zellner

Director of Educational Strategy, US at Musico

Ryan Zellner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of music education. Ryan is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the International Society for Music Education, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Founding Education Advisor and Ambassador at spikeview since May 2022. Ryan also served as the Director of Educational Strategy, US at Musico.io since January 2021.

From August 2012 to March 2019, Ryan worked as the National Program Director at Little Kids Rock, further enhancing their expertise in the field of music education.

Ryan Zellner's education history is as follows:

Ryan Zellner obtained a PhD in Educational Psychology from Capella University, studying from 2005 to 2011. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2008, Zellner attended Wilkes University, Wilkes, where they received two Master's degrees. The first Master's degree was in Educational Development and Strategies, and the second Master's degree was in Classroom Technology.

Zellner also pursued a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Connecticut, attending from 1996 to 1998. Before that, Zellner completed their Bachelor of Music Education degree at Moravian University from 1992 to 1996. They obtained their high school diploma from Nazareth Area High School in 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Zellner has obtained additional certifications. They have completed the "Designing Your Online Course" certification from QM Quality Matters in June 2021. Furthermore, Zellner holds a PA K-12 Music Teaching Certification Level II, but information about the institution and the specific dates of obtaining the certification is not provided.
