Lisa Darmanie

Lisa Darmanie de Quiñones is an accomplished educational professional with extensive experience in music and language instruction. As the Founder and Director of Alabanza Music since 2003, Lisa has pioneered a multilingual music and movement education program using the prestigious MusikGarten® curriculum for learners of all ages. Additionally, as a Musikgarten Instructor, Lisa has maintained a commitment to the core principles of the program. In the role of Music Teacher III at the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Education, Lisa conducts dynamic music and Spanish classes while mentoring students and organizing performance opportunities. Recent work as a Bilingual Music Specialist at Diamond Vale Government Primary School further highlights Lisa's innovative approach to music education, focusing on cultural relevance and student engagement. An educational background includes a B.A. in Musical Arts and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of the West Indies.
