Shelley Baird

Shelley Baird is an experienced educator with a diverse background in music and core subjects, holding a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University. Currently serving as an Early Childhood Music Specialist and piano instructor at Texas Amps & Axes since January 2017, Shelley leads music-making classes and provides piano instruction to children and pre-adolescents, while effectively marketing to families and managing recitals. With a long tenure at Musikgarten, spanning from 1999 to the present, Shelley teaches early childhood music and piano to a range of age groups and organizes numerous music programs annually. Previous roles include teaching music at Grace Classical and serving as a Math Intervention teacher at Hughes Elementary in Prosper ISD, along with teaching positions in various other schools. Shelley is dedicated to creating engaging and memorable learning experiences across disciplines.
