Michael Slavensky Dahl

Michael Slavensky Dahl is a distinguished academic specializing in strategy and organization, currently serving as a Professor of Strategy and Organization at Aalborg University Business School since August 2020 and as Professor II at the Norwegian School of Economics since January 2021. Additionally, Michael holds various leadership roles in organizations, including Chair of the Board at Musikkens Hus and Vice Chair of the Board at Aalborg Symfoniorkester, both appointed in March 2024. Michael has been active in the Spar Nord Fonden since April 2013, where responsibilities include Chair of the Board and representation on multiple other boards such as Tænketanken EQUALIS and NOVI Innovation A/S. Michael's previous experience includes serving as Deputy Head of Department and Professor at Aarhus University, as well as a member of the Danish Council for Independent Research in Social Science. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Economics of Innovation and a Master's in Economics from Aalborg University, along with foundational education in business and economics.
