Nuno Fernandes

Nuno Fernandes has a diverse work experience in the field of audio engineering and production. Nuno started their career as an Assistant at AudioPro, Lda., where they handled accounts payable and receivable and performed internal audits. Nuno then worked as a Language Tester at Electronic Arts, ensuring accurate audio and text localization for games like The Sims 2 series and the Harry Potter series. Nuno also worked as a Language Tester at U-Trax, where they logged bugs and ensured accurate Portuguese text and audio.

Nuno's passion for music led him to work as an Assistant Engineer and Pro Tools Operator for Carl Beatty at the Office of External Affairs at Berklee College of Music. Nuno assisted with organizing events and sessions and performed edits in Pro Tools. Nuno later become an Assistant at the same office, where they published online news stories and researched information for concerts.

In 2009, Nuno worked as an Assistant Engineer at Maraka Music, gaining valuable experience in the studio. Nuno then established himself as a Freelance Audio Engineer and Producer, working on various projects and building their network.

Nuno continued to expand their skills and knowledge by joining Confluência d'Ideias in 2018 as a Sound Head. Nuno provided recording and mixing services for clients such as Rita Redshoes, Tainá, Elisa, and Great Dane Music Group.

In 2022, Nuno joined ETIC as a Surround and Dolby Atmos Mixing Teacher, sharing their expertise with students. Nuno currently holds the position of Mixing Engineer at Musiversal, where they apply their skills in mixing and audio engineering.

Nuno Fernandes has a diverse education history. Nuno attended Berklee College of Music from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music Production and Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Instituto Superior Técnico from 1993 to 1999, earning a degree in Engineering and Industrial Management. Nuno also attended St. Julian's School, but specific dates and degrees are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Nuno holds certifications in the field of music production and engineering, specifically in Advanced and Core RedNet from Focusrite Pro, which they obtained in January 2021.
