Francesco Delfino

Francesco Delfino is a co-founder of Musixmatch, the world's largest official lyrics database, overseeing design, service deployment, and cloud platform management since April 2010. Prior to this, Delfino served as Head of Research & Development at Dada S.p.a. from October 2006 to April 2010, where responsibilities included defining technical product development guidelines. As the CTO and founder of Tipic, Inc. from June 2001 to October 2006, Delfino specialized in XMPP Instant Messaging and social networking. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Research Scientist at the CINI National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics from 2000 to 2005, managing a research lab and various projects, and a position as a Database Administrator for the Italian Air Force from 1999 to 2000, managing database migrations. Delfino holds an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and completed high school at Liceo Scientifico.
