Hamid Azad has extensive experience in leadership and program development within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Chief Executive at Muslim Aid since May 2005, Hamid has successfully developed a 5-year Strategic Plan for the organization. Prior roles include CEO and Head of Overseas Programmes at Faith Regen UK from August 2003 to April 2006, and Head of Community and International Development at WAMY from January 1994 to March 1996. Hamid's educational background includes a BVC in Law from the University of the West of England, an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Essex, and two degrees (M.Com and B.Com (Hons)) in Accountancy from the University of Chittagong, completed between 1981 and 1990.
