Lamees Hafeez has extensive experience in the humanitarian and charity sector. Lamees has held various senior roles at organizations such as Muslim Aid UK, Human Appeal, and the Muslim Council of Britain. Lamees has worked as a Head of Strategy, Senior Program/Desk Coordinator, International Head of Programs (Consultant), Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and Managing Director. Lamees has also worked at organizations such as Union of Medical and Relief Organisations (UOSSM), Human Care Syria, Watan, Concern Worldwide, Big Heart Foundation, Syria Relief, and the Muslim Jewish Conference. Lamees'sresponsibilities have included program coordination, leadership, advocacy, partnership coordination, and operational management. Lamees has also been involved in strategic planning, fundraising, budgeting, and staff management.

Lamees Hafeez pursued their educational journey with utmost dedication. Starting in 2004, they attended UCL where they completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Astrophysics. During this time, Lamees specialized in the field of Physics and graduated in 2007. Afterwards, they continued to pursue their academic interests by enrolling in The University of Manchester. In 2011, they successfully completed a Master's degree in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response, demonstrating their commitment to studying and understanding the complexities of humanitarian affairs. Through their educational history, Lamees has showcased their passion for both the natural sciences and the social sciences, broadening their knowledge base and expertise.
