Hamza Rahman is a professional with extensive experience in public service and political advocacy. Currently serving as an ICE Advisor for External Affairs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Hamza also holds the position of Operations Director at Muslim Americans in Public Service. With a history of leadership roles, Hamza was the Vice President and Political Director of the Young Democrats of America Muslim Caucus, advocating for Muslim Americans. Prior political involvement includes work as a Field Organizer for Biden for President and Chief Steward for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Hamza's academic credentials include a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University.

Our mission is to support the career, workplace, and community development of Muslim American public servants and serve as a catalyst, resource, and force multiplier for the associations that represent and support them. MAPS aims to harness the rich, collective power of Muslim Americans across public service sectors to build a more just and equitable United States.
