Mariam Hashmi

Mariam Hashmi is an experienced education professional currently serving as the School Principal at the Muslim Association of Canada since August 2017, having previously held the position of Vice Principal at the same institution. With a background that includes roles as Curriculum Coordinator and Mentor, Instructional Coach and Literacy Coordinator, and Teacher and English Department Head at Al-Hamra Academy, Mariam brings over two decades of diverse educational expertise. Early career experience includes teaching at Edmonton Islamic Academy. Mariam holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from American College of Education, a Master of Science in Education from Walden University, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Alberta.
