Adam Hitchen is a Technical Account Manager (Business Operations) at MUSO. Adam has over two years of experience in the music industry, working with clients to ensure the correct specifications are met and that broadcaster requests for videos are attended to.
Adam started their career as a Fastrax Client Services Assistant at Group IMD in October 2015. Adam was part of a 4-person team responsible for the running of a music video distribution service. In April 2017, they migrated the service to a Cloud-based system, offering a more streamlined and transparent service for clients.
As a Fastrax Client Services Assistant, Adam was responsible for aiding clients through the distribution service, from creating an account, through Quality Control to sending files to broadcasters. Adam also ensured that a high quality of video was sent out through personal checks and that it was sent to the correct broadcasters. In addition, they created databases for keeping track of POs and internal billing systems, as well as bespoke lists for broadcasters such as playlists and acquisition reports.
In their current role as a Technical Account Manager (Business Operations) at MUSO, Adam is responsible for maintaining relationships with key accounts and providing support during the technical onboarding process. Adam also manages a team of Customer Success Representatives who are responsible for providing world-class customer service.
Adam has extensive knowledge of how Cloud works, as well as technical requirements for broadcasters and how the transfer process works. Adam is also knowledgeable about common video errors and edits that may need to be made for TV standard e.g. Harding Tests, Compliance edits for swearing/branding etc. In addition, they have retained an in-depth knowledge of the music industry, from label promotions teams and PR agents, to production houses and broadcaster processes.
Adam is active on social media, keeping up to date with current trends as well as promoting MUSO's brand among current and prospective clients through Twitter and Facebook. Adam also creates consistent online content such as the Video Of The Week and interacts with followers on social media platforms.
Adam Hitchen has a Master of Arts in Indie Game Development from Falmouth University, a Bachelor of Music from Royal Holloway, University of London, and A Levels in Music, Maths (With Mechanics), and French from Royal Latin School. Adam also has certifications from Zenva in Create Your First Responsive Website and HTML Foundations, from City of Westminster College in Games Design Part 2 and Games Design, and from LinkedIn in UX Design: 6 Paper Prototyping. Additionally, they have JavaScript Programming for Beginners and Bite-Sized CSS Flexbox certifications from Zenva, as well as a CSS Foundations certification.
