Bill Sullivan has worked in various roles in the mortgage industry for several companies. Bill started their career at Western Tool Supply as a salesperson in 1986. Bill then joined National City Mortgage in 1996 and quickly rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Branch Manager. Bill excelled in FHA/VA lending and Custom Home Construction Lending, becoming a top Construction Lender within the bank and eventually being named a Regional Construction Lending Trainer for the Midwest Region. In 2008, they moved to Fifth Third Bank as an Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Lending, where they successfully repositioned the bank's lending profile and established it as a preferred lender for First Time Homebuyers and Condominium dwellers. Bill then worked at Bridgeview Bank Mortgage Company, LLC as a Sr. Loan Consultant in 2011, followed by a position as Director of On Boarding at BBMC Mortgage, a division of Bridgeview Bank Group in 2012. Currently, they are working at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, where they have held multiple roles including Director of On Boarding, Special Projects Manager, and Director of Customer Experience since joining in 2018.
Bill Sullivan attended Joliet Catholic High School from 1976 to 1980. Bill then enrolled at the University of St. Thomas in 1980 and studied there until 1981. Bill later pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance at Loyola University Chicago from 1981 to 1986.
